Welcome to Focus 2000: Celebrating 20 Years
It's been 22 years since Focus/2000 first started providing Handicapping, League, Tournament, and Golf Statistics software to thousands of golfers, leagues, corporations and golf courses around the world. Many of you have been with us almost the whole time, from the early DOS days right up to our current Windows Vista and Windows 7 software. So to all of our of golf friends...
Thanks for your support!
Version 7.5 & 7.5a will be current for the 2010 season.
We will continue to license our current Version 7.5 and 7.5a for the 2010 golf season. On March 1, 2010, we released Version 7.5a which was a minor revision to Version 7.5 and dealt mainly with scorecards. If you are currently using Version 7.5, there is no need to upgrade to Version 7.5a.
Version 7.5 has been in use for 3 full years and has been good, reliable software. We have had very few problems reported with Version 7.5. If you are using an earlier version of Focus/2000 software, please click on Focus News to see the new features and software changes in Version 7.5 and 7.5a.
Technical support is available only for Versions 7.4, 7.5 and 7.5a. Since Version 7.3 is now over 5 years old, support for Version 7.3 and all prior versions has been dropped. If you are using older Focus software, we recommend you upgrade to Version 7.5a soon.
For current Focus/2000 users, this upgrade will include a new CD and manual, and will be a complete replacement for prior Version 7.x products. If you currently use Version 7.2 or later, all of your golfers, courses, handicap information, and other data can be moved up to Version 7.5 without change. Most Version 7.1 data can be moved up to Version 7.5 also.
If you use Focus League Software, you should upgrade your software prior to beginning league play. Upgrading during a league season is not recommended
Both version 7.5 and 7.5a have been installed and run on virtually all Windows operating systems including Windows Vista and Windows 7.0 (Home Premium required).
Thanks! and "hit em straight"
