• Calculating handicaps for your golfers, and optionally recalculating after every day's play.
• Planning golf trips, including travel and lodging arrangements, and scheduling your golfers for each day's play.
• Several golf trips, with the same or different golfers, can be run simultaneously.
• Calculate match results where every golfer has matches going with every other golfer in the group, including press bets and skins. Simply enter each golfer's hole-by-hole scores and let GolfMaster/2000 do the rest.

Although you can print reports, GolfMaster/2000 is a screen-based system, so you don't even have to take a printer on your trips.

Golfers:

Because GolfMaster/2000 is a screen-oriented system, trip planning and match calculations are limited to 32 golfers per trip. Handicapping can be done for groups of 20 - 999 golfers depending on the level of software licensed.

Golf Courses:

You may set up and maintain information for up to 999 golf courses, including course rating, slope, as well as hole-by-hole yardage, par, and hole handicap ratings for up to three sets of tees per course.

Handicapping:

GolfMaster/2000 includes the Focus/2000 Handicapping System, which calculates handicaps based on the USGA formulas, or custom handicapping where you set your own handicap calculation parameters. (See our Handicap Page for details).

Whether you're planning a golf trip for a few golfers or a few dozen, GolfMaster/2000 will help you breeze through all those planning and coordination chores that help make your trip a success. With GolfMaster/2000, you can review all your trip information on your computer screen, or print a variety of reports and schedules for your golfers.

Golfer Information

• Golfer Selection: Golfers for trips can be combined from different golf groups you have set up to do handicapping, e.g. combine golfers from your Ladies' Golf Group and from your Men's Golf Group.
• Trip Costs: Manage trip costs with your own accounts receivable system ... deposits and balances ... when they are due ... who's paid and who is late.
• Accommodations: Which golfers are sharing rooms or villas ... check-in and check-out dates and times.
• Transportation: Coordinate air and ground transportation for the entire trip.
• Pairings & Tee-Times: Set up your pairings and schedule playing groups and tee-times ... for each day and every course you'll be playing ... from twosomes to fivesomes ... one or two rounds per day.
• Scorecards: You can even print the scorecards for your golfers, with stroke holes already dotted, before leaving home.

Match Calculations:

Want to cut hours off calculating match results every night? With GolfMaster/2000, here's how you can do it:

• You can enter scores and make a complete set of match calculations in about 15 minutes.

• Matches: GolfMaster/2000 calculates results of every golfer in the group playing matches against every other golfer in the group. Matches may be based on hole or stroke play. Between any two golfers, matches are played for the front nine, back nine, and for the full 18 holes. Press matches may be optionally set up for the front and back nines. Presses start at the number of holes down that you specify.

• Skins: GolfMaster/2000 will also calculate skins across the entire group. Skins may be played with, or without carryovers. Additionally, skins may be calculated with all golfers receiving full handicaps, or "zero based" where the lowest handicap golfer is set to zero and all other golfers' handicaps are reduced by that amount.

• Cumulative Results: In addition to daily match results, GolfMaster/2000 will also accumulate how each golfers did against all other golfers for the entire golf trip.
• Match Reports: Although you can print the day's results and the cumulative results for a golf trip, the reports are screen oriented so you can display this information without having to have a printer attached.
• Team Play: In addition to matches and skins GolfMaster/2000 lets you assign golfers to teams. Then rank teams by team low gross and team low net for each round.
• Golfer Trip Recap: A one-page report for each golfer showing each round's scores, matches won or lost, and skins won or lost.

For Your Local Golf Group:

Although GolfMaster/2000 was designed for golf trips, you can also use it for handicapping and calculating match results for your local golf group. GolfMaster/2000 supports up to a 52 round schedule and can report cumulative match and skins results.

A separate demo data disk is included with all shipments of GolfMaster/2000. On it we have set up a sample trip to Hilton Head. We've included all trip planning information. We've also entered scores and calculated results for the first three rounds. The GolfMaster/2000 Demo disk lets you jump right in and quickly see how the system works without spending hours setting up your own data.
