Golf League Software
Since we introduced our League Software in 1991, over 1500 leagues have selected Focus/2000 league software.
League Combo
The Focus/2000 League Combo combines all of the USGA and custom Handicapping Software features with the League Software features described here.
The League Combo is designed for leagues consisting of teams, or golfers, playing a scheduled series of matches over the course of the league season. And, you set the parameters for just the way your league calculates match results and awards points.
The software includes a comprehensive, illustrated User's Guide to help you install the software and get started. The accompanying demo data disk contains three sample leagues, each set up for a different form of league play, so you can quickly see how things work. We also provide a handy 5 1/2 x 8 inch Re ference Card summarizing the steps to set up your league, what to do for each round, and how to close your league season. The reference card is printed, and available on-screen with the click of your mouse.
League Features
Golfers:
League Combos supporting up to 20, 50, 150, or 999 per league golfers are available.
Golf Courses:
You may set up and maintain information for up to 999 golf courses, including course rating, slope, as well as hole-by-hole yardage, par, and hole handicap ratings for up to three sets of tees per course.
Courses & Nines:
Both nine and 18 hole leagues are supported. Leagues can play every round on the same course, or each round on a different course. Nine hole leagues can play the front nine, the back nine, or have some of a round's matches played on the front nine and others on the back nine.
Multiple Leagues:
If you manage more than one league, each is set up as a separate league (group) on the Focus Home Screen. That way you can easily move from one league to another. Each league has its own parameters, handicapping method, golfers, courses, schedules, reporting, etc.
League Formats:
Almost any combination of Match Play (hole-by-hole), Stroke (net score), and Skins are supported. Additionally, 2-person teams can play Best Ball, Combined Team Total, or both.
League Handicaps:
Select either USGA handicap formulas, or our versatile Personal & League Handicapping which lets you set your own handicap parameters.
Teams:
Up to 80 teams per league. Each team may have from 1 to 6 golfers playing in any round, plus unlimited subs.
Flights:
Leagues can also set up and track flights, e.g. No. 1 golfers in Flight 1, No. 2 golfers in Flight 2, etc. You may optionally print reports by flights.
Mixed Leagues:
Focus League Combos support mixed leagues of men and women - even competing against each other with strokes based on the applicable tees.
Split Season:
Leagues may track points and results for a full season, or split the league season into quarters, thirds, halves, etc.
League Schedule:
With the League Master Schedule, you set up the dates, courses, (and nines) your league will play for the season. Print or E-Mail the schedule to your golfers.
Position Rounds:
If your league plays position rounds, specify them on your Master Schedule. When a position round is to be played, the system automatically determines and pairs 1st place vs 2nd place, 3rd vs 4th, etc.
Pairings:
Focus software can automatically create golfer and team pairings for the entire season, or you may set up and enter your own golfer and team pairings.
Tee Times:
Enter, print and post starting tee-times for each match.
Scorecards:
Here's a real time-saver for league managers! Using Focus preprinted scorecards, you can print one or two matches per card with stroke holes already dotted.

Points:
Using the parameters you specify, the system automatically calculates golfers' points for virtually any combination of holes won, winning match, lowest net score, and skins. Team points are the sum of individual golfer's points.
Bonus Points:
You may also specify team bonus points for lowest team net score, teams winning all of their matches, and the team which wins the most skins.
Entering Scores:
If your golfers total their own cards, you can quickly enter scores and total points. Or, you may enter hole-by-hole scores and let the system automatically apply handicaps, total your scores, and calculate golfer and team points all based on your parameters.
Statistics:
When you enter hole-by-hole scores, the system will retain, rank, and report individual golfers statistics, including lowest average gross and net scores, pars, birds, eagles, and average number of putts.
Ringers:
With the Focus Ringers feature, you can track every golfer's best gross and net score on each hole for the entire season. Rank by cumulative gross, net, or print both.
No Shows:
Focus League software provides special features for handling no shows. By using dummy golfers, the golfer scheduled to play a golfer who doesn't show up can win the match by forfeit, play the course (against par), or play another opponent.
League Reports:
The Focus/2000 League System has a wide variety of reports you can print display, or write to a text file for customization with your word processor, or for electronic distribution to our golfers.
- Master Schedule, Team Rosters, and Team and Golfer Pairings for the season.
- Results For A Round: Shows detailed golfer and team scores and points won for a round.

- Standings: Print your current league standings by team and by individual golfers.
- League Summary: For most leagues, this is a one page report showing the results from the
last round, current standings, best golfer and team season-to-date scores (gross and net), and the next

- The Statistics Report and the Ringers Report can be printed at any time.
- Golfer's Seasonal Recap: At the end of the season, print a one page recap for each golfer showing all of the golfer's matches, including date played, course and nine, opponent, scores, match results, and points won. Your league golfers will love it.
- Team Seasonal Recap: Summary of each player's scoring and point preformance for season. One page per team.
Rain-Outs:
Rain-outs are easily handled in the Focus/2000 League Combo, whether you make them up later or not.
Correct Rounds:
Whether you entered hole-by-hole scores and let the system calculate points, or entered total scores and points, you can retrieve any previously played round, correct the hole-by-hole or total scores, and recalculate results. All league statistics and standings will be brought up to date based on your changes.
Delete Rounds:
Any previously played rounds may be deleted, including scores entered, and points awarded for that round.
